NIAS Fellows Association (NFA)

2023 – Present 

Since 2023, I serve as the Chair of the NIAS Fellows Association, the network of current and former fellows of the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS). In this role, I contribute to strengthening connections within the NIAS fellows' community and organizing events such as the annual NFA Day and the Uhlenbeck Lectures.

Turkey Studies Network in the Low Countries (TSN)

2020 – Present

I am the co-founder and co-coordinator of the Turkey Studies Network in the Low Countries (TSN) an independent scholarly platform where researchers interested in the study of Turkey and post-Ottoman societies come together to share ideas and works. Since 2020 TSN has organized a number of events, from academic conferences and workshops to public events.

Feminist Mobilities Network - (FemNet)

2024 – Present

I am a core member Feminist Mobilities Network, a non-profit solidarity network bringing together feminist academics from Turkey. FemNET works at the intersection of academia and activism, creating spaces for feminist scholars to exchange knowledge, share resources, and develop forms of support in an increasingly precarious and unequal academic environment. 

As part of FemNET’s book podcast series, we discuss important works published in English that have not yet been translated into Turkish, helping introduce these texts and debates to a wider Turkish-speaking audience.
